There was also another brother Samuel. He died in March 1898 aged three and a half years old and is buried in the first Chapel Ground St Pancras Cemetery, Finchley, London
The above photograph is one of my favourites. It shows the seven Hobbs brothers together with their mother Elizabeth. To her left is my grandmother Rose and kneeling is my 14 year old Dad.
The brothers also had four sisters Lily, Maud Grace and Winifred
Featured below is the first page of a letter Charles sent to his sister in law Rose and his nephew Len informing them that his brother and Len's father Norman had died at the age of 85
