SIMON and ELIZABETH LEWIS-JOHN
SIMON and ELIZABETH are my great great great great great great grandparents (grandparents x6) and the parents of Morgan Simon Lewis-John. Apart from MORGAN SIMON, Simon and Elizabeth had six other children
Lewis Lewis-John who was born 3rd November 1683 andho died at the age of 38 in Llanafan Fawr 25th May 1722
Catherine Lewis-John who was born three years later in December 1686 Catherine died in the same year as her brother Lewis on 4th July 1722

Elizabeth Lewis-John
Simon Lewis-John
Thomas Lewis-John
David Lewis-John
Simon died less than three years later on 2nd January 1725. His wife Elizabeth lived another seven years but died in Lllanafan Fawr on 19th February 1732.
SIMON's father was called LEWIS ap JON my great great great great great great great grandfather (grandfather x 7) and thankfully there is a reference to him in the 1640 Muster Rolls for the County of Breckonshire. To date he is the earliest traceable ancestor although using the Welsh naming conventions of the period his father would be called JON
It is probably worth it at this point to collate some of the information we have to date on the Lewis Family and try to get some form of overview
